Anna Borodina
|
Anna Borodina is a research fellow and a lecturer of Tver Center for Women's History and Gender Studies at Tver State University.
She holds degrees in Law (1996) and Russian Philology (1992), both obtained at Tver State University, Tver, Russia.
Ms Borodina has a certificate in Gender studies obtained at Central European University, Program on Gender and Culture (Budapest, 1996/97).
She participated in the internship for women lawyers organized by the League of Women Voters (U.S.A., 1995) and in the Junior Faculty Development Program (ACTR / ACCELS, U.S.A., American University - Washington College of Law, 2003 / 04).
Ms Borodina participated in the project on gender expertise of social sciences and humanities initiated by the Russian Ministry of Education and conducted under the aegis of Tver Center for Women's History and Gender Studies (2002/03).
She analyzed the legal studies textbooks from gender perspective.
Ms Borodina was a Civic Education Project fellow (Eastern Scholar) for two academic years teaching courses on Human Rights and Civic Society and Gender and Law at Tver State University.
She participated in CRC sessions on Human Rights (1997) and History of Gender (1999).
She is now a CDC fellow developing a course on Gender, State and Citizenship to be taught at Tver State University in Fall Semester 2006 and Spring Semester 2007.
Ms Borodina is a participant of the CDC Pilot Course Portfolio Project (CPP).
Her research project within CPP aims at exploring the impact (s) of integration of feminist / gender approach into university curriculum in terms of teaching methods and course content.
